Bold And Full: Georgia O’Keefe

Georgia O’Keefe is known as the “Mother of American Modernism”. She was born November 15, 1887 in Wisconsin. At the age of ten she decided she loved to CREATE and was going to be an artist. Georgia explored different mediums, but is known for her eye-catching paintings of flowers and landscapes.

At twenty-one Georgia stopped artwork all together. Four years later she attended some classes at the University of Virginia and became inspired to CREATE again. “I’ve been absolutely terrified every moment of my life and I’ve never let it keep me from doing a single thing I wanted to do.”

Georgia died on March 6, 1986 after a life of happiness and success. Her works are still in museums all over the world. Use Georgia as inspiration, you can CREATE the life you want.
